Sam Poetry

Artist, producer, and song-writer are just a few words to describe the Niagara Falls, New York native. Relying heavily on sampling vintage records and drawing from real life experiences, listeners are teleported back to hip hop's golden era. No gimmicks, no special effects, just raw lyrics and dope beats. In 2018 he independently released his debut album Poetic Dope while establishing himself throughout the underground, especially in the midwest. He has appeared in Cleveland's Scene Magazine, won  first place in Indiana's Hip Hop Challenge, and more recently won a 2024 Legends Award for Lyricist of The Year. In addition to being an indie artist he's also an accomplished audio engineer at Cleveland's famed Lava Room Recording, working with national acts such as Machine Gun Kelly. Aside from his recording career he teaches music classes online and in Cleveland public schools. He's currently working on a new EP entitled "No Place Like Home" and producing music for various podcast and recording artist.
